The 2024 Candidates Tournament is rapidly approaching, and it could very well be a landmark moment in chess history once all is said and done. Exciting young talents combine with established veterans of the game, with the winner taking on current world champion GM Ding Liren.
Will GM Fabiano Caruana get another chance at the crown? Will GM Ian Nepomniachtchi win a third consecutive attempt at claiming the world champion title that has so far eluded him? Or is this the year a new generation of Indian talent announces their supremacy on the 64 squares?
Meanwhile, the Women’s Candidates Tournament also features an exceptionally strong field, with eight of the best women in the world vying for the chance to challenge GM Ju Wenjun for her title.
Enter The 2024 Candidates Prediction Contest
Tell us your thoughts on how you see the open and women’s events going and be in to win some amazing prizes, including diamond Chess.com memberships and up to $150 worth of Chessable courses to improve your own game.
The contest is open from March 18 until April 4, so get your answers in before the deadline!
Prizes
Prizes will be given to the top three most accurate predictions. There will also be bonus prizes, so no matter how accurate your prediction is, you’re in with a chance to win something.
- 1st place: six-month diamond membership + $150 Chessable voucher
- 2nd place: three-month diamond membership + $100 Chessable voucher
- 3rd place: two-month diamond membership + $50 Chessable voucher
- Three randomly selected participants: one-month diamond membership
