Where to Watch/Listen: Horse Racing Coverage Feb. 16-20

After a weekend with three qualifying points preps for the 2023 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve, the activity slows down a bit for the upcoming holiday weekend which includes Presidents Day on Monday, Feb. 20. Only one points prep is on the schedule – but it’s a big one. The Risen Star Stakes Presented by Lamarque Ford set for Saturday, Feb. 18 at Fair Grounds is the first prep to offer a total of 100 Derby qualifying points to the top five finishers.

The Risen Star plus five other stakes races on Fair Grounds’ stacked Saturday card will be shown live on FanDuel TV, along with action from Gulfstream Park, Santa Anita Park, Turfway Park, Golden Gate Fields, and many other tracks.

Action from Aqueduct, Oaklawn Park, and Tampa Bay Downs will be showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races.” The program airs Friday through Presidents Day on FS2 – check the schedule below for air times.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

For livestreams, ABR’s popular “La Trifecta” returns Thursday, Feb. 16, at 9 p.m. ET. Presented en Español, the show is hosted by Darwin Vizcaya, Claudia Spadaro, and Annise Montplaisir. “La Trifecta” is sponsored by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association and the Florida Department of Agriculture. It airs on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels.
