RunBlogRun Cross Country Recovery Block, Week Three, Day 4…time to relax

This is the third week of the RunBlogRun Cross Country Recovery Block.

This is day 4, Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Recovery Blocks give you the physical and mental break from the stress of a season of athletics.

Not all stress is bad.

Coaches add to your workouts by increasing stress similar to your racing activities to prepare you for a season of racing.

We try to do that at RunBlogRun, and have been doing it since 1996. We helped many of your coaches as they entered the sport.

Your workout today, warm-up, 40-45 minutes of modest running around a park or soccer pitch, then, a slow cool-down.

If you need a day off, take it.
