Race 1
TRIPTOROYALTY ran a fair race in her last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She was reported to be changing strides that day. MEET AT THE GEORGE ran a decent race when fourth over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She won a good race in her penultimate run over this distance. The 6yo mare will strip a much fitter horse today and will pose a massive threat.
CHANTY LANE was her own worst enemy over a mile last time as she overraced in the early stages. She has won twice and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. She will strip a much fitter horse and if switching off early, she should run a big race.
Race 5
A WHOLE NEW WORLD showed good signs of a form return in his last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of Ideal World has dropped to a competitive rating and with S’manga Khumalo retaining the ride, he can return to winning ways.
LIVING WATERS was unlucky not to have won his last start as he was carried inwards in the latter stages. The drop to 1600m is a slight concern, but he is in a good space and cannot be ignored.
FEVER finished 0.5 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there should not be much separating them where it matters most.

FAEEZAHS PRINCESS ran a creditable race in her first run for the Kumaran Naidoo stable. She showed good speed before awkwardly placed in the latter stages. The daughter of Var would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. She takes a slight drop in class and may be the one to side with.
LOOKING HOT showed good guts when winning her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Malesela Katjedi which will help her chances. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
KILEIGH’S FATE finished 1.9 lengths behind MAGICALLEE last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Rachel Venniker takes the ride once again and she should run a big race.

MOUNT GREYLOCK showed some signs of a form return in his comeback run over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He was reported to be coughing that day. The son of Coup De Grace has dropped to a competitive rating and should strip much fitter. From pole position, he is capable of returning to winning ways.
WE ALL CHOMIES’ last two starts against stronger company have been decent. He has won once and finished third twice from eight starts over this C&D. The 6yo gelding takes a drop in class and should be right there at the finish.
GREY OCEAN’S last two starts have been good. He was given a peach of a ride when winning his penultimate start over this C&D. He is in a good space and from his midfield draw of five, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 8
PHINDA MZALA has not finished too far off the winner in recent outings. He raced from just off the pace over 1000m on the Turffontein Inside course last time, but found one too good in the form of Trust The Fire. He jumps from a good draw of three and with not much speed in this race, he may be able to dictate his own terms and may be hard to peg back.
EDWARD LONGSHANKS was running on well when second in his last start over 1000m on this course. That was his first start for the Kumaran Naidoo stable and if confirming his recent improvement, he is capable of going one better.
GIMME A RAINBOW is better than his last start over 1000m as the jockey reported something to be amiss. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from seven starts over this C&D. On previous form, he should be right there.
