Job title: Rhythmic gymnastics coach competitive – Full time

Pirouette Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (Ottawa, ON) is looking to hire an experience rhythmic gymnastics coach to focus on development of Provincial stream athletes as well as assist with National Level athletes in collaboration of our Head Coach.
Pirouette RGC is a non-for profit organization located in the suburbs (Barrhaven) of Canada’s Capital established in 1996.
Job requirements:
- NCCP Competition 1(old Level 2) or higher, or the ability to get Canadian equivalency for certification from outside of country
- Minimum 3 year of experience in development of programming and coaching of provincial athletes. Experience in national stream is an asset
- Specific skills required include but are not limited to technical coaching of gymnasts for provincial and national competitions, physical preparation, music selection, choreography of routines
- Judging experience is an asset
- Ability to travel for competition within Ontario and Canada
- Experience with music cutting software
- Confident and positive with gymnasts of all ability levels
- Being dedicated to making rhythmic gymnastics a positive and enjoyable experience
- The ability to communicate in English both orally and written is a requirement
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- The Coach will be required to work with and report to the club’s Board of Directors and the Head coach
- Vulnerable sector check required
Terms of employment:
- Permanent position, contract, salaried position $30.000-45,000/year (based on experience)
- Approximately 30h/week of work both preparation and in the gym (evenings and weekends)
- 3 months probationary period
- Location – Barrhaven with the exception of competitions
