The three black female gymnasts who made history by sweeping the podium at the 2022 OOFOS U.S. Gymnastics Championships will join the The Today Show all the way from Paris on Thursday morning.

Konnor McClain, Shilese Jones, and Jordan Chiles will appear on the popular morning show, but specifics of their appearance have yet to be revealed. The trio is in the City of Light with U.S. Olympic broadcaster NBC to celebrate and do promo and press for the “Countdown to Paris” – one year ahead of the Paris Olympics

McClain, the reigning U.S. all-around champion, is back in the gym training after a back injury kept her from vying for a spot on the 2022 world team. Jones, the reigning world all-around silver medalist, is gearing up for the fall elite season. Chiles, a member of the team that won silver in Tokyo, finished her sophomore season at UCLA in April, winning the floor and bars national titles. She’s now transitioning back to training elite full-time at her club gym, World Champions Centre, with eyes on a second Olympic berth. She is undecided on whether she will return to NCAA competition after the Games.
