The Boston Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla suffered corneal abrasions in both eyes prior to Tuesday’s win vs the Rockets, which Damon Stoudamire coached in his place, and did not appear at shootaround on Thursday before the Celtics vs. Clippers.
Stoudamire oversaw the session again and Marcus Smart empathized with the coach as someone who suffered an eye infection in 2019:
