The Annual Wreath Project is a local tradition that began in 2006 when the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery opened outside of Dixon, California. Wreaths were placed on the gravesites during holiday time in honor of our fallen veterans. The mission is to secure donations to purchase boughs, ensuring that each veteran’s gravesite at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery is recognized and honored during the holiday season.
Thank you all for supporting this event that benefits the RememberAVet.net annual Wreath Project! The goal is to purchase an estimated 30,000 boughs this year, so please share this information with your golfing friends and anyone you think may want to be a sponsor! It’s more important now than ever to show appreciation to our fallen veterans and their families.
