WWE RAW RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR SEPT. 19

Remember the day we learned to fly in the summer sky, when all the birds were dyin’? Strange figures floating in the light, when someone caught our sight. They knew to keep their silence, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with the intro video.

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins (WWE United States Championship)

Collar and elbow, Lashley shoves Rollins aside! Seth with a side headlock, Bob shrugs him off, they go forehead to forehead, Rollins slaps him! Dive to the floor, Lashley catches him but Seth slips out and posts the All Mighty! Back inside, off the top, Bob looking for the Hurt Lock but Rollins puts him into the turnbuckles to block!

Superkicks, off the ropes, Blackout… LASHLEY BLOCKS BY POSTING HARD ON HIS HANDS! Back elbow, a lariat sends Rollins to the floor and us to break!

Back from commercial, Rollins hits a double knee armbreaker, a Sling Blade, cover for two! A keylock applied, Lashley slings him off, scoops him up, Seth slips away to the apron and snaps his arm over the top rope! Diving knee, cover… NOPE! Arm drag, leg drop, short armscissors applied!

Lashley with a counter slam, to the floor, Seth dives and dives again! Lashley puts him into the ringpost and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Bob stacks him up in the corner and hammers him with back elbows! Swinging neckbreaker, front kick, Canadian Backbreaker and into the Yokosuka Cutter… NOPE! Following it up, high angle on the reverse STO… NOT ENOUGH! Up in the turnbuckles, jockeying for position, Seth gets the Buckle Bomb! Off the top, frog splash… LASHLEY WON’T STAY DOWN!

Arm-trap crossface applied, shifting to overhead elbows after Bob breaks his grip, underhooks, back body drop, Rollins hangs in there but Lashley counters to a victory roll pin for two! Up on his shoulder, running powerslam connects! Bobby marching to the corner, lying in wait… SPEAR COUNTERED INTO A PEDIGREE BUT BOB KICKS OUT!

Up top, Phoenix Splash, nobody home, Seth pops right back up, Blackout dodged and the Hurt Lock is on! Rollins flagging but not failing, he steps up the turnbuckles, shades of Hart/Piper but Lashley keeps his wits about him and kicks out! Referee Shaun Bennett distracted and Seth kicks Bob in the gentleman’s area!

Matt Riddle comes down to even the odds, Rollins is distracted and turns around into a ready Lashley…

Bobby Lashley wins by pinfall with a spear to retain the WWE United States Championship.

We see Damage CTRL rolling up in the loading dock and are promised a championship celebration, after the break.

Back from commercial we get a media hype reel for WarGames at Survivor Series.

Damage CTRL make their entrance driving a Damage CTRL branded golf cart.

They get in the ring and on the mic and talk up winning the tag titles. Bayley doesn’t appreciate the boos and mocks the local sports club. IYO SKY says they’re in control now and speaks in Japanese and Dakota Kai talks at length about Bayley beating Bianca Belair and says she should just pack it up and go home.

Enter Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka.

Bianca tells them off for running their mouths and says now they’ll have to teach them some respect. Bayley chastises Belair for a lack of patience and says she needs to see the long game and the big picture, like she does, and they’re not fighting again until she says so.

She runs down Alexa and Asuka as mere accessories and Bliss threatens violence, they bicker back and forth and Bliss challenges Bayley to a match and threatens to bite her. The heels get shoved to the floor and that’s that.

We see Austin Theory working out backstage and we go to break.

Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens

Theory attacks Owens before the bell and lays him out!

We get the bell, KO rushes him and beats him down! Off the ropes, big lariat, a senton, Austin on the run! Down and out in the corner, he dodges the cannonball but Kev stops short of it himself! To the floor, ramming Owens into the apron and the announce desk, but KO lays him out and goes back in the ring briefly!

Theory trips him on the apron and follows it with a neckbreaker to the floor that sends us to break.
