Where to Watch/Listen: Horse Racing Coverage April 19-23

We’re less than three weeks away from the biggest event in North American Thoroughbred racing, and contenders for the 149thKentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve are making their way to Churchill Downs to settle in and conduct final workouts before the big race on May 6.

In the meantime, top-level racing continues around the country as Keeneland and Aqueduct continue their spring meets, Oaklawn Park reaches its final stretch run, and Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park transition into their spring-summer meets.

Racing at Aqueduct, Oaklawn Park, and Tampa Bay Downs will be shown on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” from Thursday to Sunday this week on FS2. Check the below schedule for air times.

FanDuel TV continues its daily comprehensive coverage of the sport with extensive coverage of Keeneland’s meet and televised racing from many other tracks as well.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

For livestreaming content this week, join America’s Best Racing as we produce our first show covering the Middleburg Spring Races at Glenwood Park in Virginia on Saturday, April 22. ABR is partnering with the National Steeplechase Association for this two-hour livestream, which will be hosted by Dan Tordjman, NSA personality Megan Connolly, and StableDuel’s Bri Mott. Sponsored by Brown Advisory, this live broadcast will also feature guests who will discuss steeplechasing, the Virginia Hunt Country lifestyle, the local Piedmont Heritage area, and more. Set your reminders for 1 p.m. ET Saturday – the show will air on ABR’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube channels and on the National Steeplechase Association’s Facebook and Twitter channels.

La Trifecta” returns Thursday, April 20, at 9 p.m. ET on ABR’s Instagram channel. Presented en Español, the show is hosted by Darwin Vizcaya, Claudia Spadaro, and Annise Montplaisir. “La Trifecta” is sponsored by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association and the Florida Department of Agriculture.
