April 1 is on the horizon, and no fooling – we are deep in the thick of the final round of prep races for the 2023 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve. Two of the biggest are indeed set for Saturday, April 1: the Curlin Florida Derby Presented by Hill ‘n’ Dale Farm at Xalapa at Gulfstream Park and the Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn Park.

The Florida Derby will be televised live on CNBC and streamed on Peacock as part of NBC Sports’ “Road to the Kentucky Derby” series. NBC’s show airs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET Saturday and will be hosted by Ahmed Fareed, with analysis from Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey. The Florida Derby has a scheduled post time of 6:40 p.m. ET.

The Arkansas Derby will be showcased on NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races,” anchoring a seven-hour broadcast Saturday on FS2. Post time is set for 7:50 p.m. ET.

America’s Day at the Races” also airs Thursday, Friday, and Sunday this week on FS2 with races from Aqueduct (which kicks off its spring meet Thursday), Oaklawn, and Tampa Bay Downs – check the below schedule for air times.

Both the Florida Derby and the Arkansas Derby will also be shown live on FanDuel TV as part of their comprehensive daily coverage of racing including action from Santa Anita Park, Turfway Park, Golden Gate Fields, and many other tracks.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku
