Magic Tips Best Bets
Race 2: MO THE MAN (1)
Jockey: K de Melo – Trainer: J Janse van Vuuren
MO THE MAN took the lead at the 200m mark last time, but was caught late by Jet Dynasty. He will enjoy the drop to 1400m and runs well for Keagan de Melo. He is a progressive type and can go one better.
Top Bet For Today
Race 3: AVOONTOAST (6)
Jockey: S Khumalo – Trainer: J Soma
AVOONTOAST is the best bet on the programme. She produced a promising debut effort over 1160m on this course. She was slow into stride, but the manner in which she finished off her race that day was encouraging. She would have gained from the experience and will love the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.
Race 7: NEBRAAS (2)
Jockey: R Fourie – Trainer: S Tarry
NEBRAAS finished 0.5 lengths behind LITIGATION last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this distance. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle and he can return to winning ways.
Race 8: FUTUREWOLFF (3)
Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: F Bronkhorst
FUTUREWOLFF has consistent form lines to his credit. He is having his first run for the Fanie Bronkhorst stable. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts on this course. Gavin Lerena takes the ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Race 9: PINCH HIT (5)
Jockey: G Lerena – Trainer: F Bronkhorst
PINCH HIT ran a decent race when fourth in his last start over this C&D. He raced from just off the pace that day and stayed on at the finish. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena steps back into the saddle and in this line-up, he can notch up his third career victory.
