TGI is looking for an enthusiastic coach interested in coaching xcel, pre-competitive and provincial level competitive gymnastics for our women’s artistic gymnastics programs. We are looking for a self-motivated, committed and positive individual to join our growing team! The coaches will work with athletes of various ages and abilities and should be able to work evenings and weekends.
We are looking for coaches with expertise in Level 3+. Being able to coach all events is an asset, we are willing to train and provide development opportunities to expand your knowledge.
Coaches will interact with athletes and will keep parents up to date on athlete’s progress. They will work closely with TGI’s team of coaches across our program to ensure the best experience for all involved.
Coaching schedules vary and wages are based on experience. We are looking for an individual interested in a minimum of 20 hours/week up to full time hours. We are looking for a coach to start in June or earlier. Work daytime hours in the summer and daytime/evening and on weekend day in the regular season.
Compensation will be based on experience.
Requirements:
Minimum NCCP Level 2 certification including trampoline
Willingness to obtain Level 3 NCCP certification
First Aid certification
Vulnerable Sector Police Check
Must be able to coach all four WAG events
Passion for gymnastics
Ability to motivate athletes of various abilities, ages, and levels
Excellent communication skills with athletes and ability to talk with parents
Dedicated team player with the ability to take the initiative and be independent
Self motivated, responsible and reliable
Flexible work hours are required (weekends, weekday afternoon and evenings)
