ACA POWER wasn’t disgraced behind Kowloon East Star last time. He finished runner-up on this surface in January and is a big danger in this opening contest.

AWESOME TREASURE was beaten a length by SUMMIT CHEERS last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and it will be interesting to see how he takes to the All Weather. HAPPY TANGO comes in at the bottom of the weights and could be one to fill the trifecta spot.

EL VALIENTE has the form to warrant first selection and the only concern is the wide draw. He produced a good second-place finish last time and it is encouraging that Hugh Bowman has kept faith in the ride. GOLD COMET finished just under two lengths behind the top selection in his last start and the pair meet on similar terms.

THE MULTIPLIER finished strongly to win his last start in good fashion. He finished in front of CALIFORNIA CONCORD & SHINING FORTUNE on that occasion and is difficult to oppose on form. The current Hong Kong champion jockey jumps aboard and this Hayes-trained inmate looks one of the better bets on the card.
15:15 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1650m

EMERGING was beaten a neck by FORTUNE PRESIDENT last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. All three of AMAZING TEENS’ career wins have come on the All-Weather and merits healthy respect in this contest.
15:45 – Race 6 | Class 3 | 1650m

HAVA NAGEELA was beaten just over a length by subsequent winner Ching and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. ROYAL BOMB has shown good potential on the All Weather. He followed up his recent win well and is a serious contender in this line-up. YES WE CAN finished right behind the second selection last time and Karis Teetan hops aboard.
16:15 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1200m

YOUTHFUL DEAL was narrowly beaten on this course by LIGHTNING BOLT in December. The pair meet on similar terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line. MAN STAR has cracked pole and is nicely handicapped with Brazilian ace Silvestre De Sousa in the saddle.
16:50 – Race 8 | Class 2 | 1200m

NERVOUS WITNESS is the class package in this contest and has the speed to overcome the wide draw. SUPER WIN DRAGON has shown a clear affinity for this course with four out of six career wins coming on the All Weather. He managed to beat CAMPIONE in December and is a genuine contender in the lucky last!
