Coaches for Pre-Competitive and Competitive Program

Located in our Nation’s Capital, Corona is a well established gymnastics school that has been providing gymnastics excellence since 1972 serving the greater Ottawa area. We are currently seeking coaches for our WAG Pre-competitive and Competitive programs.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Establish and implement effective coaching practices for gymnasts. Be organized and have sound knowledge of long term planning. Provide competitive level coaching to athletes with a variety of skills and abilities.
Work in collaboration with staff to help develop athletes and ensure the school’s success.
Qualifications:
Intro to Competition Part 1/Level 2 NCCP
High school Diploma/education in related field preferred
Minimum 2 years coaching experience
Experience with JO Optional and Compulsory programs an asset
Good understanding of biomechanics and error detection
English, spoken and written
Additional Skills:
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, motivated and engaged
Understand the physical and emotional well being of children
Ensure a safe and positive environment
Salary Range: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
