The Birmingham Indoor is an excellent event. This writer has visited the Birmingham meeting since 2006. The Birmingham indoor is held in the NAI stadium, a wonderous arena that sits at 12,000 for indoor track meetings.
The announcing in the meeting is perfection itself, and the meeting is orchestrated, one event after another, so the final event will feature a great British athlete and leave the fans hoping for another track meet!
Keely Hodgkinson had a busy summer. At the World Championships, Keely took the silver at the 800m; in the Commonwealths, Keely took the silver at the 800m; and at the European Championships, Keely Hodgkinson finally took her first gold in a continental outdoor event.

The Brit is the first elite named — on the day tickets go on sale. Her 1:57.20 at the venue last year was a British indoor record and the fastest indoor time for 20 years.
