Duco Telgenkamp (Kampong) and Wendela van Dedem (Hurley) are the weekly winners in last weekend’s Golden Stick battle. They received the most votes from the public of hockey.nl.
Telgenkamp had a wonderful Sunday with Kampong by winning 2-1 against Pinoké. The striker himself accounted for the fine opening goal, which contributed to Kampong qualifying for the Euro Hockey League. The ball-holding striker provided a lot of threat and was one of the standouts on the pitch.
The same was true for Wendela van Dedem. She once again played for Hurley, who won 2-0 against HGC on Saturday. The goalie had answers to many shots and corners and learned a day later that she and her team are in the playoffs. These are the last games for Van Dedem, who will retire from top hockey after this season.
