YES WE CAN was beaten just under three lengths by the top selection last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights and is also a genuine contender in this opening contest.

BILLIONAIRE SECRET was beaten just over a length by AMAZING TEENS on the All Weather last time. He is nicely weighted and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. ASIAN ONE is in a rich vein of form. He went close under Zac Purton in his penultimate start and is a massive danger in this line-up.
08:00 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1000m

SPEEDY FORTUNE has finished runner-up in his last two starts over this distance. He comes in at the bottom of the weights and will have plenty of followers. HEALTHY HEALTHY produced a fair debut run when 2.5 lengths behind the top selection. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and can threaten.
08:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1600m

WAR WEAPON has decent form to his credit and produced a good third-place finish from a wide draw last time. He steps up to a mile and will have strong claims if seeing out the extra furlong on offer. THE HULK is a Group 3 winner, bounced back to best form in his last start and must also be strongly considered.

THE MULTIPLIER enjoys racing on the All-Weather and won his penultimate start over this C&D. He reunites with Lyle Hewitson and the combination merit healthy respect. I GIVE was beaten 1.5 lengths by LUCKY BANNER in his last start. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and should give the top selection a good run for his money.
09:35 – Race 6 | Class 3 | 1200m

The Shum-trained LIGHTNING BOLT finished 4.5 lengths behind YOUTHFUL DEAL last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and will benefit from jumping in pole position. ADEFILL is coming off a hat-trick of wins on the All Weather. He takes a step up in class and should be up to the task at hand. GUMMY GUMMY shoulders a handy galloping weight and could be one to complete the quartet.
10:05 – Race 7 | Class 4 | 1400m

GALVANIC has placed in all three runs on this course and was only beaten just over two lengths by LOST CHILD in his last start. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and should take a power of beating from his neat draw. D STAR is nicely weighted with apprentice Chung aboard and will just need to overcome the wide draw to have a say.

BRAVE DREAMS was given a peach of a ride to win his last start. He hardly ever runs a bad race and should give another good account of himself. WONDER KIT was a beaten favourite behind the top selection last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and will be looking to make amends.

SOLID IMPACT has placed in his last three outings under Hugh Bowman. He is holding his condition well and may be rewarded for consistency. RUN RUN BUDDY finished right behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line.

ALACRITY ran on nicely from off the pace to win his last start. He is unbeaten over this distance and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. SWEET ENCOUNTER ran in a competitive field last time when beaten just over two lengths by Voyage Bubble. He is loaded with ability and can return to best form in the lucky last!
